Estate Planning
Estate Planning involves intentionally making decisions about who has control over your things while you are alive, and where your things go when you are not. This typically involves standard documents such as:
Will,
Durable Power of Attorney,
Medical Power of Attorney,
Declaration of Guardian,
Physician’s Directive,
and others.
Not having an Estate Plan set up can leave yourself subject to the decisions of the court system, and/or put your loved ones in a position that they have to spend extra time and money settling your affairs.
We work with our clients to ensure they understand what their estate plan is and make recommendations for whether updates may be needed.
